International financial groups are not up to rapid development of banks bought in Ukraine. Refusing ambitious plans on the half way, foreigners risk leaving their overseas “daughters” outside the top ten rankings.

Some banks and insurers will change their signboard automatically – because of replacement of mother structure owner. Vitaliy Shapran, Member of Ukrainian Society of Financial Analysts, supposes that in 2009 a number of Austrian financial institutions will need selling to their colleagues from Germany, France and Spain. As a result – their business in Ukraine will move under new owners’ control
